35) E-II : Licence for sale of wine on the premises of hotel / restaurant /

canteen / club

Granted u/r Special Permits and Licences Rules, 1953

Who Can Apply Manager or Proprietor of a Hotel or Restaurant having valid

eating House.

Apply To Whom District Collector through the Superintendent of State Excise of

the District.

Processing Details / Verification of Distance restrictions from educational and

Prescribed Criteria religious institutions and State Transport Depots;

 

Document required with the Application

Mandatory :

1 Application in the prescribed proforma affixed by court fee stamp of Rs.5/- and Challan of application fee.

2 Eating house Certificate from concerned authority.

 3 Licence under Bombay Shops & Establishment Act if applicable.

4 Bank Guarantee in the name of the 50% amount of relevant licence Fee

5 No dues Certificate from sales Tax, Income Tax Department.

7 If the applicant is partnership firm, copy of partnership deed. And if company, copy of Memorandum & Articles of Association.

7 If on mezzanine floor, the height of the restaurant should be minimum 2 meters

8 Four Blue Prints of the plan of proposed premises.

9 The minimum area of 25 square meters for restaurant & 10 square meters for proposed permit room.

10 Restaurant should contain restroom.

11 Premises of the hotel should be free of distance restriction.

12 Law and order report from police Department.

Additional :

1 Licence or certificate from Health Department, if applicable.

2 Licence from Food & Drug Dept. if applicable

3 Documentary evidence of the proposed premises i.e. copy of sale deed, 7/12, property card.

4 If premises is rented, rent receipt from the owner.
